Weekend plans etc

Grips was in a car accident last Saturday night, coming home from that costume party I was bitching about not being able to go to. It was late on wet, unfamiliar roads & he'd been drinking. He wasn't faced, as the police later determined, but still...So I've spent the week driving him around to doctors, mechanics etc. Which is fine cuz that's what friends do. I'm shaken by this whole thing - having a mortality crisis. Coulda been me in the car with him. Coulda been me driving. Coulda been either one of us on any number of occasions coming back from Vincent's. He coulda died & I would have lost one of my best friends. I'm so thankful he's alive.

This weekend I'm heading to Jacknife's graduation then the party back at Tempest's house. Either I'm leaving Cas with her grandmother or we're both staying - still to be determined. Saturday there's talk of heading to Yankee Candle which sounds good, I'm just not sure if Cass will be up for it. It means a lot of time in the car which bores her which makes her cry which makes me cry. Not sure what the rest of the weekend will bring but I'm sure it will be full of family fun.
