5 Questions from Nightskye

1) You are a stranded on a desert island.

You are allowed one of each of the following items, they will last you the whole time you are there. but you can't change them

Cleaning product.
Food type.
Drink.
Person (cannot be your husband or daughter)

What do you choose and why?

Cleaning product: I'm tempted to say Bath & Body Works Sandlewood Rose Bath Gel, but I think I'd go with Camp Soap because I can use it on everything & it's biodegradable.
Food Type: PIZZA! With everything, so I'd get my meat & veggies, and if I wasn't in the mood for something on a particular day, I could just pick it off and save it for later. Also good in any temperature and for any meal.
Beverage: While I'd certainly miss beer & diet coke, I'd actually go with ice tea, to keep properly hydrated, but with some flavor.
Person: I can't bring Blixx or Cass, hu? Well then, I'd bring Tempest. We've spent countless hours just sitting around doing nothing in our years of friendship, so we might as well do it on the beach.

2) I liked this question but I'll update it a little. You are transported back in time to your college days. What do you tell the Freshman, Sophmore, Junior and Senior versions of yourself?

Freshman: Transfer out of Colby Sawyer immediately! Don't piss away the whole college account on that piss poor excuse for a college. Whatever you do, stay away from Michelle.
Sophmore: Try studying for a change. Don't sign up for classes before 10am....you'll never go! You're going to do some stupid things relationship-wise, but try to keep in mind that Blixx is 'the One.' He'll forgive you. Spend less time at Majors.
Junior: You will be tempted in a hot tub in NH by a blonde & brunette...go for it, but be honest with Blixx after the fact. Lie less in general & take more classes so you can maybe get to be a senior one of these years.
Senior: Senior?

3) You're in an accident. The medics tell you you will be fine, but something has to go. They inform you either your Sight, Hearing, Legs, or Arms will no longer function. Which do you choose and why?
I would choose to loose function in my legs. If I lost my Ssight, then I would never be able to see my beautiful daughter's smile. If I lost my Hearing, how would I hear her say Mama for the first time, or cry out to me in times of need. If I lost my Arms, I would never again be able to pick her up and stroke her head. By giving up me Legs, I would be giving up a certain amount of mobility, but I could still wheel after her in a chair, or get robotic legs or some technological wonder like that.

4) Descrive your perfect day. I'd wake up next to my husband & make slow sweet tender love. We'd take our daughter out for breakfast at the Broadway, where I'd get their (to die for) banana bread french toast. We'd drive to York Beach Maine, where we'd have a picnic lunch on the beach and watch Cass play in the sand and surf. We'd stroll around through the shops, picking up some trinkets here & there, and grab dinner at a brewpub, then head home, listening to mix cd's and telling stories and laughing. Back at home, Cass would go to bed without a fuss and we'd have nasty down and dirty sweaty sex in the kitchen & diningroom. We'd fall asleep many hours later and be able to sleep in the next day.

5) What one person from your past would you most like to get in contact with again. Why did you fall out of touch with them? What would you say to them now? This one puzzled me. There are plenty of people that I wonder about, but since I can pick just one, I'd say Karen Wagner. We did children's theater together in high school and became pretty close friends for a while there. She was always so much more outgoing and confident than I was and I admired her grab life by the balls attitude. The last I saw her was in 1989 when I went to visit her at Berkley College of Music in Boston. We lost touch because in 1989 I was involved in some pretty self destructive behavior, as was she. We had a big conflict over it and when I left her dorm that day, we never really connected after that. She was talking about being a professional actress and maybe heading out to LA. I wonder if she ever did - IMDB.com doesn't have a listing for her, but she may have changed her name.
Nothing profound to say...just Hey, what have you been up to?
