Blogger ate my post from yesterday. It was brilliant, but now you will be unable to share in the joy. Alas, it was not meant to be.

Went to sales training yesterday. Our inbound phone reps will now be selling 4 jobs or under to clients that call in, but moreover they need to be doing a better job of prequalifying the leads before passing to the telesales rep. I found out that I know a great deal about lead qualification and the sales process (thanks BazarJ) - more than the reps we've got working here. They are all stumped at what an open ended question is! Swear! It was both a frustrating and fulfilling experience to be in the group as an observer, but to be mentoring the group that I'm in. I guess I'm just wicked fuckin' smart. Maybe you had to be there.

We went to go see this house last night. It's close to Grips and has easy highway access - pretty much has everything going for it, right? Um, not if you're more than 4 ft tall. Wicked low ceilings and a general feeling of suffocation. Also, the house is about 4 ft from the track & field for Holy Cross College, which means the flood lights would be blasting away. The yard was absolutely beautiful, with a fire pit and small garage...hell, there was even a swing on the tree out front. A shame, but if Blixx calls we'll be looking at this oneeither tonight or tomorrow. We did a driveby last night. It's on a dirt road, but there are a lot of those in Worcester & this one isn't too bad. It's got a pond and beautiful gardens. The garage looks huge. I know the house is small, but we really don't need all that much space. There's a patio with built in bbq next to the lilacs. Two drawbacks - it's the nicest house around and across the street is white trash central. Also, the house is right at the top of our comfortable price range. I guess we'll just take a look inside and decide if we want to eat Ramen forever so we can sit near out own pond.

I haven't had much time to check out the other blogs. I hope you are all healthy, wealthy & wise.

Into the future...
